About Pedal Brief
A free newsletter and a shelf of reference guides for road and gravel riders who already know how to ride and would rather not read another launch-day press release.
What it is
Pedal Brief goes out twice a week, Tuesday and Friday. It covers the tech that changes something for your bike, the compatibility gotchas that come with it, and the few deals that are actually deals. The site holds the longer reference material: guides on tires, pedals, power meters, trainers and standards, and a tire pressure calculator with its method published.
How we work
- Specs, compatibility rules and prices come from the brands' and shops' own pages, and every claim links to where it came from.
- Prices carry the date we checked them. Prices move, so the shop's page always wins.
- We have not tested most of the products we write about, and each guide says so in its disclosure note. We don't write "we tested" when we didn't.
- When a source is wrong or a page changes, we fix the guide. Send corrections to [email protected].
How it is paid for
Reading is free. The plan is to cover costs with shop affiliate links and, later, clearly labeled sponsorship. Neither decides what we cover. The details, including which programs we have and haven't joined, are on the disclosures page.
Who runs it
Pedal Brief is an independent publication run from Denmark, launched in September 2026. It is small and new, and we would rather say that than dress it up.
