The organiser’s gravel page labels each course card COMING SOON. Figures below are quoted as provisional, exactly as published (checked 12 Oct 2026). Re-check bigsugarclassic.com/gravel before race day.

No drop bags on any Big Sugar Gravel course (organiser).

Cut-offs: based on about a 10 mph average at checkpoints. Support crews only at Pineville and Rockford Grange (100-mile); not on course otherwise. Spotting a support crew vehicle on course can DQ the rider.

Waitlist, volunteer, coaching and charity pathways

If spots sell out, the organiser lists these options on the registration page. We do not invent that a waitlist is open today — the page says “If a waitlist opens, join quickly.”

Deferral (deadline 15 Oct 2026)

From the registration Participant Deferral Policy (checked 12 Oct 2026):

• Defer for a guaranteed spot in the following year’s race
• Fees are not refunded and not transferable
• You must re-register in the deferral window and pay the following year’s fee (100% repay of that year’s entry)
• Big Sugar Gravel deferral deadline: 15 October 2026 at 1:00 PM CST (start of expo)

Active-duty military with proof of orders, and pregnant/postpartum mothers with an authorised medical note, may be refunded or deferred at no cost (organiser policy).

Packet pickup, key rules and required kit

From the gravel Official Rules and Equipment Checklist (checked 12 Oct 2026):

• Packet pickup Thursday / Friday before race day; government-issued photo ID required; packets to registered athletes only
• Helmet required; no aerobars / bar extensions / clip-ons; two hand-operated brakes; same frame for the race
• Primary route only; open roads; follow AR / MO bicycle laws
• Outside support only at official checkpoints (with listed exceptions for athlete-to-athlete help, local businesses, and neutral stationary local aid)
• Required carry: cycling computer / GPS, minimum 2 L fluid, two spare tubes, pump / inflation system, cell phone

Also on the gravel page: Sweet Tooth (100K MTB + 100-mile gravel) and Semi-Sweet Tooth (50K MTB + 50-mile gravel) challenges — register for each event separately; finishers get a commemorative pennant banner. $30,000 prize purse on the 100-mile (podium table on the organiser page).

UNBOUND qualifier (brief)

100-mile finishers are eligible for Life Time UNBOUND Gravel qualifier coins (organiser: at least 50 coins; ~50% performance-based, ~50% random drawing). Presence at the awards ceremony with the qualifier tab is required for the drawing. Guaranteed entry does not include the UNBOUND entry fee. Details on the gravel and registration pages.

2027 status

As of 12 October 2026, the organiser’s home, gravel and registration pages list 2026 dates and fees only. 2027 race dates are not announced. Watch bigsugarclassic.com and the registration page for the next edition’s open, early-access and deferral windows.
