SBT GRVL 2027 registration: dates, courses and fees
Random-selection window 14–31 Oct 2026, notify 5 Nov; race Sunday 27 Jun 2027. Courses, fees, packet pickup and deferral deadlines from the organiser's pages.

Who it's for: gravel riders planning to enter SBT GRVL® presented by Wahoo 2027, especially anyone who still needs to register in the random-selection window.
Short answer: race weekend is 25–27 June 2027, with the Black / Blue / Red / Green rides on Sunday 27 June. Random-selection registration is 14–31 October 2026; selected riders are notified 5 November 2026. Early registration for deferred 2026 riders, 2026 volunteers, juniors, survey winners and parity initiatives ran 1–8 October 2026. Register on the organiser’s site: sbtgrvl.com.
Registration timeline

Group registration (same page): groups of up to 4 riders. All members must register during the random-selection window from 14 October at 8:00 MT until 31 October at 23:59 MT. Being in a group does not change selection odds; the whole group is selected or not. Members may pick different courses. Late entries are not accepted.
From the Rules, Regulations & FAQs (checked 11 Oct 2026): you enter payment details for random selection, but your card is charged only if selected. Missing the window means no later registration opportunity. Pros enter random selection; only past Black Course champions receive guaranteed entries.
Race weekend and courses

Junior entries are half price; tandem entries are 2×. The About page lists slightly different elevation figures for some courses; we use the dedicated 2027 Courses page here.
Time cutoffs (2027 Courses): Black riders not averaging 10 mph elapsed, and Blue riders not averaging 8 mph elapsed, are redirected to a shorter course.
Ebikes (FAQs): allowed on Blue, Red and Green; prohibited on Black. Aerobars, earbuds and speakers are not allowed.
Packet pickup

Bring a valid photo ID. You must pick up your own packet. No event-day packet pickup.
Deferrals and course changes
From Registration & Deferrals and the FAQs (checked 11 Oct 2026):
- Deferrals for all courses: by 22 May 2027. Deferred 2027 → 2028 entry is guaranteed, but you pay 2028 fees. Deferrals are valid for the following year only; fees do not roll forward.
- Course changes: until 22 May 2027, then locked.
- Registration fees are not refundable. Transfers are not permitted.
- Registration Protection may be offered at checkout; see the policy on the registration platform for covered reasons.
